HIPPO PowerTrack
General Description
The HIPPO PowerTrack (2012E) is an engine driven, mobile hydraulic power unit
capable of operating two (2), 10gpm (@ 2000psi) hydraulic tools simultaneously, or
it can operate one (1) tool while the tracks are engaged, and the unit is moving.

The PowerTrack will Provide:
- Two hydraulic tool circuits: Each circuit is independent of the other, and each will provide 10gpm flow @ 2000psi
- One hydraulic tool circuit WHILE the tracks are engaged (can move & work at the same time!)
Features & Benefits:
- CAT, water-cooled, diesel engine
- High efficiency, direct-drive (no coupler) hydraulic pump provides improved reliability & robustness
- Higher efficiency pump provides TRUE 10-gpm flow under full load (2000psi) -- Spikers hit harder, pullers pull faster, etc
- Will operate TWO (2) 10gpm tools simultaneously
- Simultaneous move & work = more efficient
- Two, spring-return Hannay hose-reels with 50ft of Parker, 451TC bonded hose (80 times more abrasion resistance than standard hose)
- Purposeful & specific tool-storage (no "roll your own" storage solutions) for hydraulic spike-drivers, hydraulic spike-pullers, spike mauls, spike lifters, plate shovels, etc
- Load-centering, adjustable single-Point pickup (safety)
- Lockable emergency kill-switch (safety)
- (2) BETTS LED Floodlight/worklights @ 450 lumens each (VERY bright!)
- Interior rope lighting in case of low-light maintenance situations (at night, or in tunnels, for example)
- Color-coded, labeled, numbered wiring harness in automotive loom. All wires Laser engraved every 3-inches
- Color-coded hydraulic system: Black hoses = Pressure, Blue Hoses = Return
- Military grade components are robust & weather-resistant
- Pilot operated controls, no cables (cables can freeze up)
- Track tensioner is adjustable via a grease zerk, just like an excavator - no tools required
- Designed to maneuver in, around, and over 141 lb/yd rail
Instrument Package:
- Instrumentation includes: hydraulic oil temp light, engine oil-pressure light,
battery volt-meter, hydraulic oil-temp gauge, master switch & push-start ignition,
manual, adjustable throttle, toggle-switches for tracks, tools, spotlights & interior lights, and
hour meter.
- Switch operated hydraulic controls allow operator to instantly engage or disengage 1 or both of the hydraulic tool circuits
- Lockable kill switch
- Safety shutdown systems for high coolant and hydraulic oil temperature.
- Wiring system is color coded, numbered and labeled (laser engraved every 3") to indicate which
component part each wire operates, and whether it is positive or negative voltage.
