A new product is born! (Any day now…)
The 2022P is the soon-to-be, newest member of the HIPPO family. We designed this unit for Jim Chiles, with the City of Lincoln, NE Water Department.
The unit is designed to sit on the side of a 20" wide service body (in this case, the Omaha Standard model 108D54V), and will be powered by the PTO of the truck. Jim's unit will sit on the streetside side of the body, with enough room behind the unit to mount a hydraulic hose reel.

The control panel for Jim's 2022P will be accessible from the streetside, but can be "remote" installed, such as inside one of the compartments, as well.
The chassis is a 16,000 GVWR, 2006 Ford-F450, with a 6.0L diesel engine, and 5-speed, Torqshift automatic transmission with PTO provision. Matt Friend Truck equipment, our dealer, installed the Omaha Standard body and the Liftmoore 3200REE-15 crane.

That's "Dark Stone Clearcoat Metallic", if you like the color!
The 2022P will provide City work crews with a 4KW electric generator, and (2) 0-10gpm hydraulic tool circuits. It will operate the generator *and* a tool circuit, OR it will operate both hydraulic tool circuits, at the same time. Like all HIPPO products, the 2022P is designed for continuous duty use.
Bottom Line:
- Hydraulic Power = TWO (2) 0-10gpm hydraulic tool circuits
- Electric Power = ONE (1) 4KW generator
- Engines running at the worksite = 1
- Space taken up in back of truck = 0
