New HIPPO for City of Tyler, TX
The City of Tyler, TX just purchased a new HIPPO model 3033P powerpack (a "souped up" modification of our model #2032P)
for their new International 7400 chassis. This "do everything" truck will be put into service with their Water Utilities
Department, which is a perfect fit for HIPPO.

These new trucks are very powerful, and equipped with the HIPPO 3033P,
3-in-1 multi-power pack, provide the City with a very clean, very efficient, "do everything" work truck.
HIPPO 3033P Capabilities
- 100-120cfm, rotary-screw air compressor (100cfm @ 100psi, 120cfm @ 90psi)
- 4kW generator
- Two (2) 10gpm hydraulic tool circuits
The major difference between the 3033P and the 2032P is that the 3033P is capable of
operating the air-compressor, and the 4kW generator simultaneously.
It's also capable of operating the 4kW generator and two (2) 10gpm hydraulic tool ciruits, all at the same time.
Each function is completely independent of the others, and can be enabled with a simple flip of a switch.

It should be pointed out that Tyler has been using HIPPO long before "HIPPO" was cool. In fact, they've been using
HIPPO before "HIPPO", as a brand, even existed. Back in the "pre-HIPPO old days" (before October, 2006) HIPPO was simply known as
Mobile Hydraulic Equipment Company, and the product that they used was known as the "PowerAll"
(what is now the 4532P).
Tyler has been using "PowerAll's since around 1996, so they were (are) very familiar with what MHE could do for them. Here's a
a couple pictures of one of their existing (older) trucks:
The 3033P allows the City to (basically) replicate the capabilities of the 4532P without taking up any space behind the cab.
Obviously, the 4532P has a much larger air-compressor, but as we continually point out to folks, anything above 100cfm is wasted if
all you're operating is a 90lb jackhammer. And besides, the 3033P can operate (2) 90lb hydraulic jackhammers simultaneously,
all day long if need be.
Bottom Line: They still have all the power they need to operate all their tools, and get the job done!
