The Fabulous (TOP 10!) Flying Fish of Kansas City!
 The SFX Flying Fish
On September 6 & 7, more than 1,800 cyclists, 800 volunteers and thousands more supporters joined together for Bike MS: Kansas City 2008, an annual fund-raising ride to support finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. Once again, MHE is proud to have sponsored the "SFX Flying Fish" in this ride. The Flying Fish have a lot to be proud of as well: They were able to raise over $18,000, earning them a TOP-10 spot for fundraising, ahead of many larger teams! (Woo-Hoo!). Incredibly, SFX had two riders who, out of 1,800 other riders, were able to raise enough money to earn them a spot in the TOP 30 for overall fundraising! A big "hats off" to Sam "Salmon" Swearngin, and Pete "Sailfish" Schloss! Way to go guys! Additionally, we'd like to give a little tip-of-the-hat to Theresa Van Ackeren (and you too Bruce!) with Family Bicycles of KC. Theresa was very helpful to us in getting our HIPPO logo on the SFX jersey's, and was a pleasure to work with.
