U.S. Army goes with HIPPO
Mobile Hydraulic Equipment has shipped an initial order for (5) 2032E HIPPO Multi-Power units. These first units will be deployed to U.S. Army combat engineers.
2032E
The 2032E is a member of a suite of HIPPO multi-power units that simultaneously generate electricity, compressed air and hydraulic power to operate numerous, high-power, handheld tools. Unlike some of our truck-mounted, PTO-driven HIPPO models, the 2032E is completely self-contained and powered by a rugged, water-cooled diesel engine.
HIPPO 2032E Ready to Ship!
The 2032E delivers up to 80cfm of compressed air, 4,000 Watts of electricity, and provides two (2), fully adjustable, 0–10 GPM hydraulic tool circuits. Equipped with lifting rings and forklift pockets, it can be taken to a job site in a vehicle as small as a pickup truck, placed on the ground and used to support workers, independent of the truck, and eliminate, multiple auxiliary engines.
Additionally, MHE supplied hose reel mounts which are interlocking and bi-directional, (with each other, and with the power units themselves) for "off truck" worksite operations.
Bi-Directional, Interlocking Hose Reels
Hippo Multi Power products can provide a wide range of compressed air from 40–185 CFM, up to 12 kw of electric and multiple hydraulic tool circuits, ranging from 0–30 GPM. An optional 200-amp welder is also available with the 2042P (PTO)
