HIPPO at Westminster, CO
Westminster, CO
We were more than a little surprised when we showed up at the City of Westminster, CO to show them why HIPPO was the
greatest thing since sliced bread, and found out that they already knew about us!
Mobile Hydraulic Equipment has been manufacturing multi-power units
for years, and there's a LOT of "HIPPO Equipped" trucks out there
that we don't know about. (It's a long story.) At any rate, Westminster
is one of those places where we'd built a power pack, and then lost
track of it over the years.
An *OLD* 4532P!
This truck has been used quite a bit: As of the date of these photos
(6/10/2008 @ 2:13pm), the compressor had been run 481hrs, and the
PTO had been run 1061hrs! Fortunately, we build a pretty robust product,
and it had been very reliable for them over the years, so they weren't
mad we hadn't been around sooner!
With fuel prices being what they are (and ever-shrinking equipment budgets), we figure they'll be ready to replace it in 15-20 years ;) That's OK, we'll be ready whenever they are!
